Best of Europe Handmade - Animal Magic

The animal kingdom is always a popular source of inspiration for arts and crafts and everyone has their favourite animals (in case you were wondering, mine are cats, giraffes, goats, and fennec foxes. Although I like all animals really).

Here are some handmade items inspired by animals - maybe your favourite is featured here?

First up is this super cute amigurumi piglet by TheStitchandFold. I am not able to crochet very well, so I am always in awe of people who can make such sweet things using crochet:


Next is this beautiful drawn postcard of Oscar the orangutan by RaspberryDoodles. I love the expression on his face:


Next is this colourful Dala Horse Hanging Ornament by RavenandMatilda. I have a particular fondness for dala horses (I recently blogged about them) and I love the bright colours used:
